Page 1 of Reviewer Readers' and Writers' Circle

There's a healthy "What Are You Reading At The Moment?" thread here in the General Forum, but I was discussing with Rob the possibility of starting a new Readers' and Writers' Circle forum which would expand on that and provide a group for any of us bitten by the literary muse.

Anybody fancies starting such a group, please post here and if enough people show an interest, Rob will set up a new forum.

I haven't written a creative word in anger in years! I made the mistake of reading what I had written six months previously and got a rude awakening.

But I'm a voracious reader, (when I get the time). So I'd be on the potential Readers side of that Venn diagram!

I have been putting finger to keyboard with some vigour lately, and I've managed to pen a pretty big, open-ended tale that is currently just larger than the third Harry potter. Sadly, it was for a very select audience so I can't divulge any more than that. The experience has, however, taught me that I am capable of churning out something of that size in less than a year, I just need a more generic and publishable subject matter so I get some recognition for my efforts.

I always have my blog with my previous short stories below, but looking back on some of them, I completely understand Jitendar when he talks about 'Rude awakenings!'

Writer`s Release

I would definitely be interested in the readers side.

I sometimes write in my spare time, but have never shared it with anyone before and I might be rubbish, so a very cautious maybe on the writers side I think :)

Put me down as interested.
Member of a writers group, regularly writing flash fiction and currently about 6,000 words into my first attempt at a full length novel. Probably end up being self published if at all.
